My name is Sara Hoehn, I was raised in Panama City Florida by my parents Yvette and Shon Riddell.
I’m a mother of three children ages 17,15 & 12. I have been incarcerated for over 10 years starting in 2011. I’m now serving a 27-year sentence for a non-violent, first-time offender. My charges are – Manufacturing meth 500 grams or more (fluid in a bottle) conspiracy to manufacture meth, possession of a firearm in furtherance of drug trafficking (no drugs were ever sold).
I’m asking for clemency, my life and a second chance to be a mother, daughter, and sister.
The greatest moment of my entire life was when I became a mother of my children. Even though I started at a young age they are my life. Please help me to get a second chance to be there for my children, not to miss out on any more of their life, they need me, and I need them. My son will be graduating next year 2022 and I don’t want to miss out on it. That’s the only thing he says to me is ” mom please be here when I graduate”.
I always worked and took care of my children. I’m not saying that my life was always perfect because it wasn’t, but I tried my best as a single mother of 3 children to do what I could.
During my time of incarceration, I have maintained a positive attitude and I have kept a job the entire time. I have learned multiple traits such as, a 411 operator, plumbing, production coordinator, scheduling for trucks to go out, receiving coordinator, landscape, heavy machinery. I received my GED and have taken many classes including parenting, healthy relationships, trauma, and I’m currently in dog training program where I train a dog to be a service dog to help people with disabilities and a lot more to better my re-entry into society.
If granted clemency, I want to first rebuild my relationship with my family that I have missed out on the past decade. I would like to be a part of a support group to help others and tell them my life story and help them to not make the same mistakes I have because if maybe I had that chance, I could have saved my own life, so I want to save others from going down this path.
Thanks for your help, I hope that others see I deserve a second chance
She deserves a second chance she has done so much to rehabilitate herself and still continues to do so!
This is second chance month. I will share this page on my platforms. Hope that she gets the help she needs. #Strive2wardFreedom
I agree that Sara deserves another chance. She has worked for her rehabilitation and recovery back into society and especially for children that needs her. I am a Minister praying for redemption and forgiveness from society because Jesus Christ did it for all of us. John 3:16. Thank you in Advance.🙏🏽♥️
