Courtlon “Champ” Turner is a dedicated father and successful Barber. Champ was actually attacked by his close friend, who at the time was having an aggressive paranoid outburst. As his attacker was making a living selling counterfeit items, he believed that the government was planning to arrest him. Champ came to help his friend and later made a call to his girlfriend. Unfortunately, this ignited paranoia in his friend causing him to attack Champ with a butcher knife. Champ then successfully defended himself, due to previous training, by retrieving the weapon from his attacker and escaping to call 911. Upon arrival, the officers made an unruly assumption to arrest Champ thus leading to his unlawful 10-year sentence.
